How will Saquon Barkley fare against the Packers defense on Sunday?

The NFL playoffs are nearly upon us, and there are some great matchups taking place this weekend. Fans are anxious to see what their favorite teams can do in some banner contests, hoping desperately that they can advance to the Divisional Round.

We’re going to break down our favorite Underdog player props from each game, this time, going over the matchup between the Green Bay Packers and the Philadelphia Eagles.

The Eagles are a five-point favorite at home, but with some injury questions to answer, it will be interesting to see how they fare against a Packers team that is coming off a frustrating loss to the Chicago Bears, a team they should have beaten.

Can the Packers pull off a Wild Card upset for a second straight season? Let’s take a look at our player prop picks and see if we can sweep the board!

Saquon Barkley OVER 101.5 Rushing Yards

We went back and forth on the over or under for this prop, but we settled on the over for Saquon Barkley. He’s too good of a player to fade in a playoff matchup, especially since Jalen Hurts has been questionable all week.

If the Eagles elect to throw the ball even less than normal, Barkley could get an increased workload, which should result in 102+ yards, even though he’s facing the Packers, one of the best rushing defenses in the league.

Green Bay gave up 109 yards to Barkley in their season opener, and we think history will repeat itself, which is why we’re taking the over in this spot.

Dallas Goedert OVER 3.5 Receptions

With Jalen Hurts questionable coming into this game, we didn’t want to bet on any of the wide receivers, as they feel like a lot of an unknown. However, tight ends are generally safe in most game plans, especially if that tight end is named Dallas Goedert.

Goedert has been consistent for the Eagles all season, and if Hurts takes a few drives to get back into his rhythm, he could rely on a safety blanket like Goedert to throw the ball to near the line of scrimmage. We think he could have 5+ catches in this game, hopefully making for a sweat-free prop.

Tucker Kraft OVER 3.5 Receptions

The two top tight ends in this game could combine for a lot of receptions. Tucker Kraft has made a name for himself in the Packers’ passing attack, and similar to Goedert, he’s a safety valve for Jordan Love.

Kraft is more of a deep-ball threat than Goedert, which makes him even more versatile, and for that reason, we love his chances of having 4+ catches in this game.

Love will likely be forced to throw the ball a lot in this game, so why not target his tight end, especially with Christian Watson out?
