Monday Night Football is delivering a big matchup between the Cleveland Browns and the Denver Broncos. It’s shaping up to be a great game for some solid prop bets. The Browns look to build momentum after a rare victory, while the Broncos are looking to strengthen their playoff position by a bit.
We’ve looked at the top player prop bets for this game and found some of the best hidden gems you just might want to bet on for MNF.
Player Prop Odds: +105
Bo Nix has been on fire recently. He’s been showcasing his impressive accuracy and decent decision-making.
Over the last 5 games, he’s thrown 11 TDs to just a single interception while completing nearly 70% of his passes. That’s not bad at all. And with Courtland Sutton and Jerry Jeudy being reliable targets, Nix is in a great spot to hit this prop.
Sure, the Browns’ defense is no joke, but they’ve struggled against efficient quarterbacks like Nix. They’ve allowed 3 passing touchdowns to Geno Smith and 2 to Jared Goff in the last few weeks.
Nix has tossed at least 2 touchdowns in 3 straight games and we don’t see him slowing down by any means. This makes this plus-money bet a smart play for MNF.
Player Prop Odds: -120
Courtland Sutton has been Mr. Reliable for Denver all season long and we think he’ll continue to hold that title for MNF.
He leads the Broncos in receptions, yards, and even TDs, and he’s been incredibly consistent with 5 straight games of 70+ receiving yards.
The Browns do have a strong pass rush, but their secondary is fairly vulnerable to physical receivers like Sutton.
Myles Garrett may force Nix to get the ball out quickly, leading to plenty of targets for Sutton on the short to intermediate routes.
Given Sutton’s recent form, he should have no problem clearing 64.5 yards.
Player Prop Odds: +120
Jameis Winston has a reputation for turnovers, but he’s been surprisingly careful with the ball in his handful of starts this season. In the last game against Pittsburgh he gave up a single interception and then a few weeks back against the Chargers he gave up 3, but beyond that, he hasn’t given up any.
Facing a Denver defense that’s excellent at generating pressure but middling in the secondary, we think Winston could prioritize short, safe throws which would keep mistakes at a minimum.
Denver has forced only 2 interceptions over their last 4 games, but that also wasn’t against a careful Winston.
At plus money on this bet, the value here is too good to pass up. You might want to add this prop bet to your bet slip.
Player Prop Odds: -105
Even with Cleveland’s struggles, Nick Chubb continues to be a dominant force in the ground game. He’s averaging around 4.6 yards per carry this season and should see plenty of touches with Jameis Winston under center. Although he’s not known for explosive plays that stretch the field, it’s the attempts that get him the yardage.
Denver’s defense has improved just a bit, but they’ve allowed over 100 rushing yards to opposing backfields in 3 of their last 5 games. That’s where this bet comes into play.
Chubb’s combination of vision and power makes him a strong bet to surpass the 56.5-yard mark and we really like this one at near-even odds.
Player Prop Odds: -120
While Jerry Jeudy has been more productive with Winston at quarterback, his numbers are still relatively volatile. Sometimes he racks up 11 targets and others it’s just 3. He really hasn’t established himself as the go-to receiver.
He’s surpassed 60 receiving yards just a handful of times this season, and Monday’s matchup isn’t ideal for a breakout game.
The Browns’ secondary has been decent at containing secondary receivers, holding players like Tyler Lockett and Jordan Addison under their season averages.
With Sutton commanding the bulk of targets, Jeudy may struggle to see enough volume to hit this number. The odds aren’t the best, but it should be a good pick for Monday Night Football.
This week’s MNF slate offers plenty of value in both plus-money props and solid bets with safer odds.
Bo Nix’s TD total and Nick Chubb’s rushing yards are strong overs we wouldn’t want to pass up, while Jerry Jeudy’s under offers a safe fade on the inconsistent WR. Sprinkle in a Jameis Winston interception prop at plus odds, and there’s a great mix of value and upside for your Monday night bet slip.
