Two Cleveland Browns are in our best player prop bets for Sunday, while Cade Otton should become the Bucs’ top target after the injuries to Godwin and Evans. Check out our entire card for Sunday, October 27 below! Good luck, folks!
No Chris Godwin. No Mike Evans. Who will step up for Tampa Bay? How about third-year tight end Cade Otton.
Otton has already surpassed the 40-target mark this season and is playing around 100% of snaps for Tampa. Without their top two receiving options Cade Otton is TE1 material, going for 100 yards on 8 catches last week after Evans went down.
Against an Atlanta team that allows 4.2 catches per contest Otton is in a great spot this Sunday as Baker’s go-to short yardage target.
Jordan Love faces a Jacksonville defense that is allowing the second-most yards per contest through the air and have been beaten up behind the secondary all season long.
Love will have nearly all his weapons fully healthy and as the Packers are hitting their groove on the new year, expect this to be a statement game where Green Bay overpower the Jags.
Although JLove has missed this mark in three straight games, we have to take into account that LaFleur is fantastic at offensive adjustments and putting Love in situations to make those big plays.
If you aren’t on the David Njoku and Jameis Winston connection train already, hop on it before it is too late. Njoku has totaled 21 targets the past two weeks while going for 76 yards and a score last week against Cincinnati.
Moving forward, the athletic tight end should serve as Winston’s top option in the passing game with no Amari Cooper and a receiving core that lacks some star power. Njoku went for six catches in both games against Baltimore last season.
Our second Cleveland Brown on our slate, Nick Chubb is due to get an increased role moving forward after his first game back from injury in over a year. Last game he ran for 22 yards on 11 carries while catching one pass for 10 yards.
As he faces a Ravens defense that is incredible against the running back position this year, Chubb is due to get an increased role as a pass catcher with the Ravens constant pressure on Jameis Winston - who’s making his first start for Cleveland.
