The lead wide receiver for the Lions should get plenty of looks early this season. This one might be out there, but hear us out. Jacksonville plays Miami in this game, week 1, in Miami. While Miami had incredible success last year, there are some reasons to like this Jacksonville team. They were cooking the previous year before getting riddled with injuries. They should have a strong defense despite the speed of the Miami offense. Even though Miami is at home and has one of the most explosive offenses in the league, they feel vulnerable. Getting plus money on what we feel should be closer to a toss-up is a solid value.

Houston starts their season off against another up-and-coming roster, the Colts. This one will be interesting in a battle of two second-year QBs. Houston was busy this off-season, however. Indiana is no pushover, though, with one of the best backs in the game, Jonathan Taylor. The tandem of Anthony Richardson and Taylor on the ground could be devastating. At -2.5 for Houston, we love this bet; as long as Houston can walk away with a field-goal victory, this one will cash out!

We’re all in on the Falcons this year, with a great starting matchup versus a Steelers roster facing challenges. Russell Wilson will take the field to start in the season opener, but Atlanta expects to be near full strength for this matchup. Comparing offensive talent, Atlanta will have the edge with Drake London, Bijan Robinson, Kyle Pitts, and Kirk Cousins. This isn’t the juiciest line out there, but it feels solid for what it is. If you’re looking for a little extra boost on the odds, the spread is currently -3 at -110. Not a bad option either.
Starting their season against the Panthers, the Saints are a middle-of-the-road team. That’s more than we can say for this Panthers team, though. Following a catastrophic season last year, they’re looking to bounce back behind second-year QB Bryce Young. We’re not highly optimistic about their prospect this year. We’d prefer to see this line at -3 for the Saints, but baggers can’t be choosers, and -4 feels like a strong bet for this Saints squad.
