What does the data show?

Teams that fit this strategy have had phenomenal success as close underdogs since the start of the 2020 season. In this time, 101 total games have fit in the sample size with a success rate of 61%. In layman’s terms, if you bet $20 for every game that fit this strategy since 2020 you’d be up $440. The larger the unit size, the larger the return.

Most professional handicappers would be thrilled with a win percentage in the 55% to 58% success rate over the course of one season.
