Super Bowl Prop Pick deep dive from Boop: A historical look and analysis of the over/under passing yardage

We are coming off consecutive Supes where both quarterbacks were significantly Under on their Passing Yardage totals

Remember the aerial shootout that Nick Foles and Tom Brady unfurled in Super Bowl 52? Well, the starting quarterbacks in the two Super Bowls since then certainly do not.

We are coming off consecutive Supes where both quarterbacks were significantly Under on their Passing Yardage totals . . . And that includes Brady, who missed the mark by nearly half a football field two years ago against the Rams (310.5/262).

It looks like both Brady and Pat Mahomes will have O/U postings in the 300s as the Props begin to pop up this week, but until then, we thought you’d like to take a look at how those numbers have played out on the Super Bowls the last couple of decades.

Remember, the numbers vary from sports book to sports book. Most of the totals we used here are from newspaper accounts on the weekend of the game.
