Jared's NFL Week 17 early game picks: Playoff spots on the line for Dolphins, Ravens, Browns, Giants, Cowboys

It's the best slate of early action in weeks with the four games possibly deciding playoff spots.

BILLS (-3) Dolphins (43)

Jared's Pick: Bills

Breakout Player: WR Stefon Diggs

The Bills have been dominating every team in their way all season long. This is going to be one their tougher matchups. Miami is fighting for a playoff spot and is in a must win scenario against their division rival. It is unclear who Buffalo is resting this week, if anyone, but the Bills are clearly the better team.

Ravens (-12) BENGALS (44.5)

Jared's Pick: Ravens

Breakout Player: QB Lamar Jackson

The Ravens have been one of the most explosive teams in the NFL the last few weeks. they started off the season slow, but are now fighting for one of the last playoff spots. I expect Lamar Jackson to run all over Cincinnati‘s defense. The Bengals have had one of the worst passing and rushing defenses this year, and the Ravens have had the number one rushing offense. this game should be a blowout.

BROWNS (-10) Steelers (43)

Jared's Pick: Browns

Breakout Player: RB Nick Chubb

The Browns are fighting for one of the last playoff spots in the AFC while the Steelers are relaxed and benching Ben Roethlisberger to get him ready for the post-season. The Browns are arguably one of the best teams in the league, and if they’re going against a team who is benching multiple starters, they should dominate this game.

LIONS (+6.5) Vikings (54)

Jared's Pick: Lions

Breakout Player: WR Marvin Jones

Without RB Dalvin Cook, I don’t see the Vikings winning this game. He’s been such a big part of their offense this year. The Lions aren't any good, but I see them putting up a fight.

PATRIOTS (-3.5) Jets (40)

Jared's Pick: Patriots

Breakout Player: RB Sony Michel

The Jets on a two game winning streak against two good teams. This still does not mean anything. Even though the Patriots are out of playoff contention, I don’t see them losing to their division rival.

Cowboys (-2) GIANTS (45)

Jared's Pick: Cowboys

Breakout Player: WR CeeDee Lamb

Dallas has been on a roll the last few weeks after being in last place in the NFC East. Now, both teams in this game can win a playoff spot if they win and Washington loses. Giants haven’t been what they looked like earlier this season.

BUCCANEERS (-6.5) Falcons (50)

Jared's Pick: No pick

Breakout Player: WR Chris Godwin

Tampa Bay absolutely destroyed the Lions last week. The Falcons don’t have a much better defense the Lions, but how much will Tom Brady and the starters play with the Bucs already in the playoffs.
