Jared picks the NFL Week 15 early games: 49ers vs Cowboys, Colts vs Texans, Vikings vs Bears, more

Dolphins vs Patriots has a lot of playoff implications and should be a game to watch.

COLTS (-7.5) Texans (51)

Jared’s Pick: Colts

Breakout Player: WR TY Hilton

Indianapolis has been a force on both sides of the ball recently. People were beginning to question their offense, but after scoring 44 points against Las Vegas last week it doesn’t seem to be much of a problem. Houston’s only hope today is Deshaun Watson. Houston's defense is sloppy, and their offense would be nothing without him. The Colts should cover.

TITANS (-11) Lions (51.5)

Jared’s Pick: Titans

Breakout Player: RB Derrick Henry

It’s pretty clear at this point that Derrick Henry will run over any below average defense any chance he gets. After scoring twice in his 215 yard game last week against Jacksonville, I don’t see him slowing down this week. Detroit desperately needs help on both sides of the ball if they want to cover, but Tennessee should blow them out.

Buccaneers (-6) FALCONS (49.5)

Jared’s Pick: Buccaneers

Breakout Player: WR Mike Evans

Atlanta’s defense simply won’t be able to handle Tampa Bay’s offense. The Falcons rank 30th in passing yards allowed per game, and are about to face one of the deadliest wide receiver groups in the NFL. I wouldn’t expect to see much of Tampa’s running game until the game gets out of hand. With Julio Jones out again for the Falcons, it basically sets the Buccaneers up to cover.

Jaguars (+13) RAVENS (47)

Jared’s Pick: Jaguars

Breakout Player: RB James Robinson

This is an extremely winnable game for Baltimore. Jacksonville’s defense has been absolutely horrific all season. However, Baltimore hasn’t been a team who blows other teams out this year, and Jacksonville has been decent about keeping games close. Lamar Jackson is really the only concern on the Ravens’ offense, and if Jacksonville can contain him in any way they should stay within the spread.

DOLPHINS (-2) Patriots (41.5)

Jared’s Pick: Dolphins

Breakout Player: QB Tua Tagovailoa

New England has been very inconsistent this season. First they beat the Chargers 45-0, then they almost got shut out by the Rams the next week. I don’t think this is a team that can beat Miami. Miami has been way more consistent. They are also coming off of a very close game against Kansas City. This should definitely be a close game with New England’s talented defense and Miami’s offense, but Miami's offense will be missing key players. Leave this game alone.

VIKINGS (-3) Bears (47)

Jared’s Pick: Vikings

Breakout Player: WR Adam Theilen

Chicago showed some bright spots with Mitch Trubisky last week and he could have another big game against Minnesota’s defense. The Vikings’ offense is full of weapons, and will definitely give Chicago a fight. They had a hard time stopping them in week 10, and I think they will again. But they'll squeak out a win.

Seahawks (-5.5) FOOTBALL TEAM (44.5)

Jared’s Pick: Seahawks

Breakout Player: QB Russell Wilson

With the way Washington had been playing I would probably have taken them to cover, but I don’t see this happening anymore with Alex Smith out. Even though Seattle’s defense isn’t great, they should run over Washington’s offense.

49ers (-3) COWBOYS (46)

Jared’s Pick: 49ers

Breakout Player: WR Brandon Ayiuk

With Ezekiel Elliott out for Dallas, San Francisco should have a huge defensive day. I didn’t see Dallas winning with Elliott, but they will be a mess without him. San Francisco should cover.
