BoopProps Sunday NFL - Parlaying Eagles and Chiefs touchdowns into some possible BIG paydays

Sunday, 1 p.m.

If you have followed along with BoopProps for the better part of two years now, there should be two things you know:

1) We book these wagers as much for the fun of them as we do the possibility of paying off our mortgage (although, that also would be quite fun).

2) The Kansas City Chiefs have been our second-favorite NFL team (behind the Eagles) since Christmas Day, 1971.

This week, the Chiefs host the arch-rival Raiders (now of Las Vegas) and the Eagles travel cross-state to take on the Steelers (always of Pittsburgh). And for just the second time since Week 10 last season, they are playing at the same time (1 p.m.) and we can watch them side-by-side from the comfy-ness of our own Family Room couch.

What can be more fun that that? Some touchdown parlays across the two games you say? Okay, we’re in.

Let’s pair up one player from each team at each skill position. Those basically just jump right out at you, when you think about it (Eagles players listed first):

QB - Carson Wentz and Patrick Mahomes

RB - Miles Sanders and Clyde Edwards-Helaire

TE - Zach Ertz and Travis Kelce

WR - Greg Ward and Tyreek Hill

We shopped around our five main NJ apps and settled on Parlays matching one or two TDs from each of those players paid off best at either DraftKings or FanDuel.

Now, before you chuckle at the Wentz/Mahomes Double TD payout, be aware Wentz has scored a TD in three straight games and Mahomes has eight to his name (including playoffs) in his career. If both those guys can scramble for the end zone in the first half of their games Sunday, it could make the second halves verrrrry interesting.
