In Monday Night Football, Jared Hackmyer picks the New Orleans Saints to roll over the Las Vegas Raiders

After a second Sunday of tough-to-figure games, is Jon Gruden's group ripe for an upset?

Saints (-7.5) over RAIDERS (48.5)
Jared’s Pick: Saints
Breakout Player: QB Drew Brees

Even with an absent WR Michael Thomas, the Saints’ offense still has tons of depth. Vegas’ defense is still growing and lacks key pieces and I see New Orleans running up the score on Monday. Raider rookie WR Henry Ruggs looked promising last week, but is now questionable for tomorrow’s game. If he is not 100% healthy, I don’t see QB Derek Carr, TE Darren Waller and RB Josh Jacobs doing the job themselves against New Orleans’ defense. Tampa Bay’s offense is loaded with weapons and New Orleans’ defense held them down last week. One player I would watch Monday is TE Jared Cook. Cook recorded 80 yards in week 1, but without Thomas, Drew Brees could look more to the tight end option. Saints WR Emmanuel Sanders is another player to watch after a low workload last week. After a very successful 2019 season, the Saints are a top tier team in 2020, and don’t see them losing Monday night.
