Thursday BoopProps: Phillies and NFL - Teaming Rhys Hoskins' bat with the Chiefs' enormous offensive firepower

We checked . . . And double-checked . . . And triple-checked . . .

Nope . . . No Flyers game Thursday night which means no Flyer to match up in a Goal-Scoring/Home Run Parlay Bet with the heat-seeking missile known as Rhys Hoskins.

While teammate Bryce Harper has cooled to less-than-room-temperature, Hoskins has four home runs in his last seven road games and eight dingers in 15 games overall since Aug. 23. But we need a match for him . . .

Andy Reid to the rescue, as usual!

Reid and his defending Super Bowl Champion Kansas City Chiefs open the 2020 NFL season by hosting the Houston Texans. (You can check out our previous BoopProps story on the game itself here.)

As usual, Reid and quarterback Patrick Mahomes have a slew of offensive weapons at their disposal and will use them all. We will go with a $5 Hoskins Parlay on eight players – including a longshot in fullback Anthony Sherman – and double that on extremely heralded rookie running back Clyde Edwards-Helaire, the last player taken in the first round of the 2020 draft.

It is safe to say a couple of those Chiefs will find paydirt. We just need Hoskins to keep up his end of the bargain.
