Bet the NFL Draft: Eckel picks where he thinks certain players will be selected — Do you take the over or under on Andrew Thomas at 10 1/2?

How about local Penn State DE Yetur Gross-Matos with the Over/Under at 27 1/2?

The NFL Draft’s first round is scheduled to take place in less than four weeks (April 23) and potential wagers have begun to pop up everywhere.

Over the past few days and continuing this week we’ll look at some of the more interesting ones and of course throw in our opinions on which ones are worth a buck, or three.

Today’s wagers centers on where certain players will be selected.

Georgia T Andrew Thomas

Over/Under 10 1/2

Bet: He should be the first tackle taken but might not go until second or third. I think Cleveland takes him at 10, and Arizona could at 8, so take the under.

Oklahoma WR CeeDee Lamb

Over/Under 12 1/2

Bet: It’s looking as if he’s going to be the first WR taken, so take the under.

Florida CB C.J. Henderson

Over/Under 16 1/2

Bet: He should be the second corner taken (Tampa Bay 14?). Take the under.

Auburn DT Derrick Brown

Over/Under 8 1/2

Bet: He’s one of the top 5 players in the draft, but will go lower because of the quarterbacks. Still I think Carolina takes him at No. 7.

Alabama WR Henry Ruggs

Over/Under 15 1/2

Bet: He should not go that high, but teams are falling in love with his speed. This is one I won’t touch.

Clemson LB Isaiah Simmons

Over/Under 6 1/2

Bet: I can finally take an over. Unless there is a trade, I think he lasts until 9 (Jacksonville).

South Carolina DT Javon Kinlaw

Over/Under 15 1/2

Bet: I’m going over again.

Alabama T Jedrick Wills

Over/Under 10 1/2

Bet: He should not be a top 10 pick, so take the over.

Ohio State CB Jeff Okudah

Over/Under 4 1/2

Bet: This is a trick. The Lions will take him at 3 and make the under a winner. Unless they trade down to 5 or 6 and take him there and make the over a winner. I’m not risking it.

Alabama WR Jerry Jeudy

Over/Under 12 1/2

Bet: Take the under, because I don’t think he gets past the Raiders at 12.

Oregon QB Justin Herbert

Over/Under 5 1/2

Bet: Take the over. I don’t think he’s going top 5, and he may be one of those guys who really drops.

LSU Wide Receiver Justin Jefferson

Over/Under 21 1/2

Bet: Take the over, but not for a lot.

Oklahoma LB Kenneth Murray

Over/Under 19 1/2

Bet: One of my favorite players in this draft, this should be an under, but linebackers have become so undervalued he’ll go in the 20s.

LSU Edge Klavon Chaisson

Over/Under 16 1/2

Bet: I’ve had him pegged to Atlanta for weeks. And the Falcons happen to select at No. 16.

LSU CB Kristian Fulton

Over/Under 24 1/2

Bet: Take the under. He’s the third best corner in the draft.

Louisville T Mekhi Becton

Over/Under 8 1/2

Bet: I’m going to say over, just slightly.

Alabama QB Tua Tagovailoa

Over/Under 3 1/2

Bet: This is all about a team trading up to No. 3 to get him. So be careful. I wouldn’t bet it.

Penn State DE Yetur Gross-Matos

Over/Under 27 1/2

Bet: Minnesota at 25? I don’t have a lot of conviction, but take the under.
