I’ve liked the Bills most of the season and they’ve proved they can be a legitimate threat in the playoffs - at least for the first weekend. Yes, they lost their last 2, but they pushed New England in Foxborough and then didn’t need to show up against the Jets last week. Before that they were on a 4-1 ATS run with the one spread loss by a point to Baltimore. They’ve allowed more than a touchdown less per game than the Texans, who own a win over New England but were thumped by Denver, a team Buffalo dominated, and were blown out by a Baltimore team the Bills played toe-to-toe with. Points look good in what could be a low-scoring game.

Tennessee +5 at NEW ENGLAND

Last year at this time I was pondering whether New England’s time was past. I quickly snapped out of it and I and my bank account rode them to the Super Bowl. I don’t think anyone sees them repeating that feat this time around, but I’m going with the Evil Empire to make the season last one more weekend. It’s been pointed out that Bill Belichick knows Ryan Tannehill well from his days with the Dolphins, and that can’t hurt. Neither can New England’s +21 turnover differential (Titans were +6). Pats were only 2-3 vs. playoff teams (with the 2 wins against the Bills) but Titans were 1-3 not counting last week’s win against the Houston junior varsity - plus, the other win was against Kansas City in Patrick Mahomes’ first game back from a knee injury. I don’t see them winning in Foxborough even against a less-than-dominant Pats team.
