These are my key factors for the game on Thursday between New Orleans and Atlanta:
Saints are 9-2.
Falcons are 3-8.
The Saints are coming in after a win against the Panthers by a score of 34-31.
Falcons saw their two-game win streak end with a 35-22 loss to Tampa Bay.
Saints are the favorite at -6.5.
The over/under total is 49.5.
The money line is Saints -300 and Falcons +250.
The Falcons are the home team.
Atlanta won the last matchup two weeks ago by a score of 26-9.
The Saints are leading the NFC South and looking good on both sides of the ball. Their offense is ranked 12th and their defense is 10th. The Saints average 24 points per game. Falcons are all but eliminated from playoff contention. This season may signal the end for Dan Quinn.
The prop bets that will make things interesting involves passing yardage for Drew Brees and Matt Ryan. Brees played poorly against Atlanta in the last meeting. He should get the best of Ryan this time.
I have a lean toward the under. The trends for TNF have been low scoring contests so far. A divisional game on Thanksgiving is the perfect recipe for this play. I am 14-8 in my selections on NFL Monday and Thursday. I have hit my last 3 leans.
