Like Chiefs on Thursday night at Denver, Rams are getting a reprieve from their recent struggles against a team that can’t match them on either side of the ball. Brutal Falcons have covered 2 of last 11 as a ‘dog, and are 1-5 ATS this year. L.A. had been averaging 29 ppg before last week’s debacle vs. SF, and figures to break out against Falcons ‘D’ allowing 35 ppg last 4.

L.A. CHARGERS (+2½) at Tennessee
Matchup of mirror-image teams that have gone win-loss-loss-win-loss-loss this season. Difference is Titans’ desperation move of benching Marcus Mariota for Ryan Tannehill. Chargers are on road where they are at their best (8-2 ATS) while Titans are 2-5 against the number at home.

New Orleans at CHICAGO (-4)
Saints’ 4-1 record (and 4-0 spread run) qualifies as one of NFL’s feel-good stories, but feeling here is all the good comes to an end at Soldier Field, where offenses go to die and Bears have covered 9 of last 11 in the regular season. In what could be a defensive battle, lean toward the better defense.
