Carolina has won 3 of the last 4 and 5 of the last 6 at home against Tampa Bay. The Carolina offense was effective against the Rams. The same cannot be said about Tampa and the Niners. Too many turnovers were the Achilles heel in that game.
Gerald McCoy get a chance to rush Jameis Winston after playing for the Bucs for 9 season and averaging 6 sacks a year during that period. Christian McCaffrey played well against the Rams with his receiving and rushing yardage. McCaffrey prop action for the game is rushing over 80.5 and receiving over 60.5. Last week he had 123 yards rushing and 81 receiving. The play appears to be over the posted number in both bets.
A prop bet that I find interesting is whether Cam Newton or Jameis Winston will throw an interception. Both can be erratic so that should garner interest. The price on Winston is -260 for yes and +192 for no. Newton is -134 for yes and +104 for no.
As for the game, Tampa continues to struggle against Carolina, A short work week and having to travel will not benefit them. The lean is toward the Panthers.
