4. Bet365

Bet365 is newer to the US sports betting market, but that shouldn’t deter you from signing up with their amazing app. The company is no stranger to booking action, as they’ve enjoyed boatloads of success in Europe for several decades.

Bet365 was founded in England in 2000 and is owned by the Coates family. As of March 2024, Bet365 is available in 9 US states. With a fabulous app, solid bonus offers, and an experienced team of employees, Bet365 could keep climbing the ranks.

  • Bonuses are usually on par or better than other sportsbooks.

  • One of the few brands that usually gives players a choice of at least two promotional offers.

  • Favorable juice on sides, totals, and even player props.

Bet365 Sportsbook Cons

  • Not available in as many states as other top sportsbooks.

  • The app isn’t as user-friendly as some of the others on our list.

5. Caesars

Caesars threw its hat into the sports betting ring in a big way back in 2021 by acquiring William Hill. The company’s sportsbook product has been soaring ever since and is now doing business in 20 US markets. Caesars has a fine reputation in the industry and is a favorite choice for many sports bettors.

Caesars is partnered with the Cleveland Cavs and even has a retail sportsbook at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse. Caesars also owns 9 properties along the Las Vegas Strip and each one offers an in-person sportsbook.

After going through a brief registration process, simply make your first deposit. Find a bet you like and fire away for up to $1,000. If your wager loses, Caesars will give you Bonus Bets to cover the loss.

6. Fanatics Sportsbook

Fanatics made a huge splash in the sports betting scene by acquiring PointsBet in 2023. This was a huge deal for Fanatics because it gave them instant access to some of the largest sports betting markets in the industry.

Fanatics Sportsbook is live in Maryland, Massachusetts, Virginia, West Virginia, Ohio, Tennessee, and Kentucky. Fanatics is operating the PointsBet brand in a whole slew of other states as well. We’re expecting lots of growth from Fantatics Sportsbook as sports betting becomes more popular.

Fanatics Sportsbook Pros

  • Phenomenal mobile app that gives bettors access to lots of nice features.

  • Competitive and even favorable odds in most point-spread sports.

  • Lucrative signup bonuses for new clients.

  • Plenty of ways to get quality customer service assistance.

Fanatics Sportsbook Cons

  • Not many promotions are offered to existing customers.

  • Can be late to post player prop options at times.

Here’s how it works. Simply register for a Fanatics Sportsbook account and place (5) $10 bets. Fanatics will then give you (5) Bonus Bets worth $40 apiece.

8. ESPN Bet

ESPN, the largest sports media outlet in the world, now has its very own sportsbook. ESPN Bet purchased Barstool Sportsbook in November of 2023, which gave them instant access in 17 states.

As you might expect, ESPN Bet has been super aggressive with its bonus offers. The company also allows former Barstool Sportsbook customers to participate in its welcome bonus, which is a nice gesture.

ESPN Bet Pros

  • Currently offering $100 in Bonus Bets after a new customer makes their first bet!

  • Loads of Odds Boosts and Bet Insurance options for each day’s card.

  • Live Chat feature makes it easy to get ahold of a customer service person.

  • Easy signup process that takes most folks less than 5 minutes to complete.

ESPN Bet Cons

  • Awful juice on moneyline sports like hockey and baseball.

  • Not the greatest odds on Futures.

Current ESPN Bet Bonus Offer

Since ESPN Bet is on a mission to gain more market share, they’re giving new customers $100 in bonus bets. The only caveat is that you have to place a bet of any amount!

While this bonus offer is a nice gesture, it pales in comparison to the promos that BetMGM and FanDuel are currently offering. That being said, it’s hard to argue with getting $100 in Bonus Bets added to your bankroll.

9. BetFred

BetFred doesn’t get a ton of publicity, but that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t consider signing up for their sports betting app. The company has only been in the US for a few years but they have over 50 years of experience in the UK bookmaking industry.

BetFred was founded in 1967 and is currently available in 10 U.S. states. They have partnership deals in place with the Denver Broncos, Cincinnati Bengals, and the Colorado Rockies.

BetFred Pros

  • Lots of ways to earn nice player rewards like Bonus Bets.

  • Boosted odds on lots of Same Game Parlay options.

  • Above average mobile app that has a 4.2 rating on the App Store.

  • Goes above and beyond with an array of security measures.

BetFred Cons

  • Bonus offer isn’t among the best in the industry.

  • Mobile app is live in only a few states.

Current BetFred Bonus Offer

BetFred’s welcome bonus is a $105 Bet on Fred promotion. What this means is that BetFred will cover your first wager for up to $105 if it loses. While this is a decent offer, it pales in comparison to several other promos in the sports betting world at this time.

As disappointing as the BetFred bonus offer is, there is still a lot to like about their sportsbook. Having another sports betting app to shop odds is never a bad idea.

10. Betway

Another newer sportsbook to consider adding to your portfolio is Betway. The online gambling outfit was founded back in 2006 and its parent company, Super Group, is traded on the New York Stock Exchange.

Betway is newer to the US sports betting landscape and is currently only available in 9 states. Even still, this sports betting app is worth having and they are a major player in the European sports betting market.

Betway is currently partnered with West Ham United in the EPL and several NHL teams in the US and Canada.

Betway Pros

  • New clients in Indiana can get a Bet $50, Get $200 in Bonus Bets deal if their first bet wins.

  • Ohio sports bettors that are new to Betway can get a $40 Bonus Bet after placing a $20 wager.

  • Lots of solid Odds Boosts each day that are called Betway Boosts!

  • Website and mobile app both make it super easy to find the sport you want to bet on.

Betway Cons

  • The scrolling adds at the top of the screen can be a little annoying.

  • The $250 First Bet Reset, which is offered to Betway customers NOT in Indiana or Ohio, isn’t ideal.

Current Betway Bonus Offer

Betway’s bonus offer is kind of confusing because it all depends on the state you are in. As we mentioned above, sports bettors in Indiana and Ohio can take advantage of nice bet/get opportunities. However, all other states are limited to the $250 First Bet Reset.

A first bet reset is where Betway will cover the loss of your first wager with them for up to $250. While this bonus offer is better than nothing, it would be nice if Betway would offer the bet/get promos in all states and not just a couple of them.
