The NRL is BACK!

For those of you that are night owls, or early risers, the Australian NRL has been a staple of the FOX networks for years. But like everything else, it was paused due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

It came back with a bang last night (this morning?), though, as the Parramatta Eels crushed another opponent, winning 34-6 over a decent Brisbane team (watch match highlights here).

The season had just started when the pause came, and it returns in week three. While that might not be enough time to determine which teams will finish where in the ladder, one thing is already certain: the Gold Coast Titans are bad.

The Titans lost their first two games 24-6 and 46-6 (70-12, -58 difference), and now get a North Queensland side looking for its first victory at the new Queensland Country Bank Stadium.

The Cowboys jumped out to a 22-6 last time out, way back on March 19, and will look to do the same Friday. The halftime/fulltime play on NQC is one that looks promising, as do the various margin of win wagers.
