GWS looks to build on AFL Grand Final appearance with another run in 2020.

For the Greater Western Sydney Giants, the 2019 Australian Rules Football season was very memorable.

Until the Grand Final.

The Giants, who have only been around since 2012, made their first Grand Final appearance last season after they won three games in the finals series. But GWS was pummeled by Richmond 17.12 (114) 3.7 (25). The 89-point margin of defeat was the third worst in the history of the Grand Finals.

But this season sees the Giants as one of the favorites to get back to the final match of the season. Their campaign begins Saturday with a game against a Geelong team that ended the 2019 season on top of the ladder, but comes in as only the sixth favorite (+1000) to win the cup.

Look for a tight win by GWS.
