I’m going to try this whole Turkish Basketball League handicapping thing and we’ll see how it goes. Anadolu Efes is one of the best teams in the TBL with a 20-2 record entering this game against a mediocre Bursaspor team who comes in at 11-11. I often think down the stretch of a regular season, teams like Efes are a little overvalued against the spread. Everyone knows those teams are the best teams and therefore books need to make them more and more expensive. There are 13 games left in the regular season for Efes and I’m not sure they’ll win many of them by 17 or more. For example, if this were the line in each of Efes’ last five games, it would have only covered one of them. Often times with spreads this big, if you like the dog, you’re just asking them to not be a dumpster fire and I don’t think that’s asking much from Bursaspor.
