Let's give some props to the PGA Championship

Picking the winner of a PGA tournament is hard enough when so many in the field have a legitimate chance -- this week at THE PGA tournament the favorite is Dustin Johnson and he's a healthy 11/1. Rory McIlroy is next 12/1 and some guy named Tiger Woods is tied for 6th at 18/1. Shows you how tough golf is that Tiger, who's won every major and is coming off a victorious Masters, has the same odds as Jon Rahm, who's won only accolades. But we'll leave it to Mike Kern to pick a winner, we're more interested in the prop bets, courtesy of  MyTopSportsbooks.com.

Enjoy the tournament and realize that some of those roars you're hearing at Bethpage Black may be only tangentially related to the leaderboard.

So far Neal Abrams likes Rome: He went went 12-4 in early action at the Italian Open. Andrew Albert went 2-1 with baseball picks. Both of Mick McMudder's Quick Picks came back winners at Parx. RT won the 3rd race at Finger Lakes.

We'll try to do considerably better today.

Good luck at the tables, windows, kiosks and apps.
