Sorry for the lack of newsletter yesterday. We had a real life intrusion.

Potential big sports betting news out of NY

There might be mobile phone betting in New York after all.

While the first iterations of legislation made no provisions for mobile, a new tweak would allow the Seneca Nation and two other casino-owning Indian tribes to offer anyone within the confines of the state the opportunity to bet on their phones. Good news for the gamblers in NYC, not such good news for the sports betting outlets across the borders of New Jersey and Pennsylvania.

The state is holding hearings in Albany today.

The Buffalo News has more.

Because you can bet on anything....

Tuesday results (and a little Monday)

So, Boop Vetrone agreed to do our How We Fared recap last night and he went 6-0 in Philly Prop bets. Hmmm. . . . (He also did a nice job streamlining it.) Also seeing some success was Neal Abrams, who went 4-2 at the Madrid Open.

Monday, the winners were Mark Eckel who had NASCAR winner Martin Truex Jr. in his group of picks (the others went 4th, 5th, 7th and 10th so ther was money to be made there) and RT who picked four straight winners at Finger Lakes.

We'll try to do even better today.

Good luck at the tables, windows, kiosks and apps.
