NYRA BETS comes to Bettors Insider

If you looked at the site today - and it's already noon so you certainly should have looked at the site by now - you may have noticed something new.

An ad.

Or as we say in the remote office - "a bleeping ad."

With Google AdSense rejecting "gambling" sites, it took a lot of unexpected programming to be able to run ads but thanks to Ben Turk Tolub and our friends at Quintype, we now have our first "bleeping" ad.

And it's a good one. With the Triple Crown races and summer racing then the Breeder's Cup in the month's ahead, if you want to place bets on the thoroughbreds (and harness horses) you can sign up with NYRA BETS, use the Promo Code: INSIDER and it's a win-win.

You get a $200 match from NYRA BETS and we get a customer referral fee.

Then you take that free NYRA BETS money bet it on some longshot to win the Kentucky Derby and then double-down on the Preakness and Belmont, spend the summer picking winners in Saratoga and turn what was essentially a gift into a hefty retirement nest egg.

Think about it. Promo code: INSIDER.

Monday Results

We had lousy Monday picking team sports, but the highlights were Neal Abrams 4-1 on tennis from Monte Carlo and our equine handicappers. Not to brag or anything, but our horse racing handicappers -- Mick McMudder, Chris Garrity and RT -- are really good.

They're interesting, they have different views on handicapping but take it very seriously and they do pick a lot of winners. You probably shouldn't quit your day job and follow their advice, but reading them will certainly add to your enjoyment and understanding of the Sport of Kings and also add to your billfold.

Yesterday, after picking 5 winning tickets on Saturday, McMudder was at his home track of Parx and after winning the first race exacta, picked the 2nd race winner plus the exacta plus the trifecta. His other two picks of the day paid nice prices finishing third.

We'll try to do better today.

Good luck at the tables, windows, kiosks and apps.
