2024 CFB Record: 7-5
It was a nice Saturday for our college football selections, as we ended up going 2-1. We were a hair away from sweeping the board, but a couple of careless plays by the Ragin Cajuns from Lafayette spoiled the big party.
Our other wagers cashed without much of a sweat. Jacksonville State blew out a really bad Southern Miss team and Washington outclassed Northwestern to get us in the green. Week 5's card features a play for Friday and 2 plays for Saturday. Good luck, folks!

It's tough for me to fade the Huskies since they were so good to us last week. However, this is an awfully tough spot for Jedd Fisch's crew. U-Dub has Michigan on deck in a rematch of last year's national title game, so you have to wonder how focused they'll be for Rutgers.
The Huskies probably have the more talented roster, but this will be their first road game of 2024. The travel spot is also tricky because they'll be flying from coast to coast. To make matters worse for UW, the game is on Friday instead of Saturday.
Fisch is an outstanding coach, but Gregg Schiano isn't too bad in his own right. He led Rutgers to national prominence many moons ago and would love nothing more than to get his squad back into the spotlight. Let's lay the small number with the Scarlet Knights!

I picked this up at +10 late last night, but still see plenty of value in the +9.5 number on the Golden Gophers. With a game total this low (38), I'm willing to take anything over a touchdown with Minnesota. I don't think this team is as bad as they looked last week against Iowa.
Sure, playing against Michigan in the Big House is always scary, but the Wolverines have struggled in the vertical passing game all year long to this point. Junior QB Alex Orji has more upside than Davis Warren, but he still only threw for 32 yards last week against USC.
Michigan has a stout defense once again this season, but their secondary is allowing 246.5 passing yards per game. That's only good enough for 85th in the country. Look for Minnesota QB Max Brosmer to do just enough to get us the cover here on Big Noon Saturday.

Louisville has a good squad, but this is a mega-revenge spot for Notre Dame at home. I like the Cards, but we just saw them struggle quite a bit in their victory over Georgia Tech. Now the Ville has to play their first road game against an Irish team that remembers them ruining their season in 2023.
The Riley Leonard hype train has been rather quiet since Notre Dame's shocking loss to Northern Illinois. However, I still think this kid is one of the best playmakers in college football. Leonard has only 1 passing TD this season, but he's found the end zone 6 times with his legs.
Notre Dame hasn't done much through the air this year, but I think that could change in this game. Louisville ranks just 90th in the nation in yards per pass allowed. Look for Leonard to stretch the defense with a few deep posts to Beaux Collins.
