We’ve officially reached another college football Saturday! There are plenty of people out there who are just NFL fans, and that’s fine, but there’s something special about a day filled with over 50 games.
There are a lot of interesting games on the slate this week, and we had a lot of picks to sort through on DraftKings to try and come up with our top player props for the week.
We decided to focus on props from ranked games, but rest assured, DraftKings has you covered on all the other games as well.
With that in mind, let’s take a look under the hood and get into our favorite plays from Saturday’s action!

This pains me to type out as a fan of the Wisconsin Badgers. They are 2-0 heading into the week, but they face a ranked juggernaut in Alabama.
These two historic teams don’t play each other often, so when they do, it’s typically met with great fanfare and excitement. This time around, the Badgers aren’t as solid of an opponent, and we don’t expect them to fare well.
We’re certainly hoping for the best, but there’s just no way we can trust a player like Tyler Van Dyke to succeed against an incredible defense. Look for him to be stifled throughout the game, throwing for less than 181 yards, even if the Badgers fall behind early.
What the heck has happened to Donovan Edwards? He and Blake Corum were a dynamic pairing last season, one of the best one-two punches in all of college football.
We thought he would take a massive step forward with Corum now on the Los Angeles Rams, but that just hasn’t been the case.
He hasn’t had more than 50 rushing yards in a game this season, and at this point, we have to see it to believe it. We’re taking the under on his rushing totals until he proves otherwise.
The rivalry between Oregon and Oregon State is one of the best in college football. Both schools are pretty good each year, and while Oregon is ranked No. 9 and Oregon State is unranked, this should be a great matchup.
Oregon is led by none other than Dillon Gabriel, who is playing lights-out to start the year. He’s a big reason why they are ranked this highly, and we have little doubt that he’s going to put his best foot forward against an arch-rival.
Look for Gabriel to throw for 3+ touchdowns in this one, putting the dagger in Oregon State.
