NCAA Football Friday with Joe Wiz: UNC, Virginia Tech kick off ACC schedule with intriguing contest

The ACC football schedule kicks off Friday night in Blacksburg with a Coastal Division clash between the Virginia Tech Hokies and the No. 10 North Carolina Tarheels, led by QB Sam Howell.

The last two times these teams have met, the offenses have been in overdrive. It was 43-41 in 2019, and last season, the Tarheels squeaked out a 56-45 victory.

Are these teams going to combine for 101 points like they did last season? Probably not. But the Tar Heels can put up points, and the 64 total looks very interesting.
