Happy Hump Day, sports betting amigos! Tuesday was a nice afternoon for us on the college hardwood, as our player props went 2-1 to run our record to 53-45 on the season. That brings our overall profit up to +1.8 units.
Cincinnati's defense came through for us, as they held Bryce Thompson to just six points to easily cash our Under ticket. The Bearcats get a date with Iowa State today at 12:30 PM Eastern as their reward. Andrej Stojakovic of Cal also gave us an easy winner by torching the Virginia Tech defense.
Our lone loser was on Ishmael Leggett, who never seemed to get comfortable in Pitt's surprising loss to Notre Dame. Leggett finished with only 4 points, which was way short of our Over 15.5 play on him. To make matters worse, that game ended in regulation on an awful foul call.
I'll be in attendance for today's action at the SEC Tournament, so let's bring home some winners. Best of luck today, everybody! Enjoy the Madness!
South Carolina vs Arkansas: 1:00 pm ET • SEC Network
The juice on this one is kind of rough, but this line looks to be at least a full rebound short of what it should be. Murray-Boyles is averaging 8.1 rebounds per game this season, so I was shocked that this number wasn't 7.5. The sensational sophomore has a knack for bringing down boards, even against players that have several inches on him.
Arkansas does have some giant big guys in the paint, but they'll be without their best player today. Adou Thiero hyperextended his knee against Mizzou back on February 22nd and he hasn't played since. That should mean more opportunities for Murray-Boyles on the glass this afternoon.
Lastly, Murray-Boyles should have some good vibes against this Razorbacks team. He was able to grab 7 rebounds against them back on March 1st. Give me an Over to get this Hump Day started!
Murray-Boyles is 23-8 to the Over vs. this line in '24-25.
Murray-Boyles has gone Over this line in 12 of 18 SEC games.
Murray-Boyles is 3-2 to the Over vs. this line over his last 5 games.
Texas vs Vanderbilt: 3:30 pm ET • SEC Network
Let's wrap up the Wednesday card with another Over. Hoggard is Vandy's most experienced player and he's no stranger to March Madness. He was a key piece of Michigan State's postseason runs from 2021 to 2024.
Because of that, I look for the Commodores to lean heavily on Hoggard today. The former Spartan should easily surpass his 26 minutes per game average against Texas this afternoon. Hoggard leads Vandy in assists (4.7) and he dishes out slightly more of them at home (4.9).
Today's game against the Longhorns isn't technically a home game for Vandy, but it's at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville. The place should be packed with black and gold, so it'll feel like a home game for Hoggard and the 'Dores. Let's play the Over! Anchor Down!
Hoggard is 17-14 to the Over vs. this line in '24-25.
Hoggard has gone Over this total in 4 of his last 5 outings.
Hoggard has gone Over this line in 10 of his 18 SEC games.
