Welcome to the Wednesday college hoops preview, sports betting friends! Tuesday was a so-so night for us on the college hardwood, as our player props went 1-1 to run our record to 42-35 on the season. That brings our overall profit down to +3.21 units.

Give me just a second to vent about our loss on Norchad Omier of Baylor. I still can't believe the powerful big man didn't go Over his point total. He finished with 15 points against Cincy to give us a bad beat by the dreaded hook.

Thankfully, Walter Clayton of Florida cashed for us to make the night a little more bearable. Let's get back into the win column on Hump Day. Enjoy the action, everybody!

Sean Pedulla (Ole Miss) Over 13.5 Points (-125)

Ole Miss at Auburn: 7:00 PM EST (ESPN2)

Pedulla is the top scorer on this Ole Miss team, and they'll need a big performance from him to get a win on the road against the No. 1 team in the nation. The 6'1" guard put up 29 against UGA back on February 1st and I could see him getting into the 20s once again on Wednesday night.

Ole Miss is a 13.5-point underdog in this contest, so Pedulla should get plenty of opportunities from three-point land since the Rebels will probably be playing from behind. Pedulla normally makes at least two shots from downtown per game, which helps our bet on the Over.

I also like that Pedulla's median point total is 15 and that he usually gets at least 35 minutes of playing time each game. Let's play the Over to get this Wednesday party started.

More Trends for Pedulla's Over

  • Pedulla is 14-13 to the Over vs. this line in '24-25.

  • Pedulla has gone Over this total in 7 of his last 10 outings.

  • Pedulla has gone Over this line in 7 of his 13 road or neutral-court games this year.

Malik Dia (Ole Miss) Under 12.5 Points (-125)

Ole Miss at Auburn: 7:00 PM EST (ESPN2)

Here's a number that just looks way too high at first glance. Yes, I know that Dia has burned us a couple of times over the last month but hear me out. The 6'9" forward was only able to put up 9 points against Auburn back on February 1st.

Dia has been getting more minutes lately, so that is a definite concern with this wager. However, I love that Johni Broome will be the one guarding Dia for much of this contest. The Player of the Year candidate is an inch taller and obviously a lot more seasoned than Dia.

Dia's median point total this season is just 8. That stat alone is what pushed me to play this Under. There's just too much value to pass up on this one, even though Unders have been killing us lately.

More Trends for Dia's Under

  • Dia is 20-7 to the Under vs. this line in '24-25.

  • Dia has gone Under this line in 4 of his last 7.

  • Dia is 8-5 to the Under vs. this line in road/neutral games.

Jason Edwards (Vandy) Over 15.5 Points (-118)

Vandy at Texas A&M: 7:00 PM EST (SEC)

Edwards is one of the most consistent scorers in the SEC and I expect a pretty good game from him on the road against a tough Aggies team. The 6'1" junior leads Vandy in scoring, as he averages 17.3 points per game.

Motivation won't be a problem tonight for the Commodores, as they need another big win to make the NCAA Tournament. Vandy is a 7.5-point underdog tonight, so Edwards may be firing off a few more shots than normal from beyond the arc. Look for him to hit 2 or 3 shots from downtown.

I also like that Edwards gets to the charity stripe quite often. He usually makes at least 4 free throws per game, which is a bonus for our Over. Let's cash it!

More Trends for Edwards's Over

  • Edwards is 20-7 to the Over vs. this line in '24-25.

  • Edwards has gone Over this total in 7 of his last 10 outings.

  • Edwards has gone Over this line in 9 of his 12 road or neutral-court games this year.
