Welcome to Super Tuesday, sports betting friends! Monday was a fantastic night for us on the college hardwood, as our player props went 2-0 to run our record to 41-34 on the season. That brings our overall profit up to +3.6 units. After a rough week last week, it feels really good to be back in the win column.
Seth Trimble of UNC got the party started early for us, as he easily eclipsed his 9.5-point total by putting up 17 against FSU. Our under bet on Juwan Gary also got us to the cash-out window in no-sweat fashion. As we predicted, Michigan's big men didn't give Gary many open looks.
Let's build on this week's positive momentum with some more player prop winners on FanDuel. Enjoy the action, everybody!
Florida at Georgia: 7:00 PM EST (SEC)
Clayton is the top scorer of this Florida Gators team, and they'll need a big performance from him to get a win on the road against a scrappy Georgia Bulldogs squad. The 6'2" guard put up 17 against UGA back on January 25th and I could see him doing even better than that on Super Tuesday.
The Gators always make sure that Clayton gets plenty of opportunities, as he typically takes at least 14 field goal attempts per outing. That's the kind of solid volume I look for when betting an Over, especially in a conference game on the road.
I also like that Clayton's median point total is 17 and that he normally knocks down a couple of shots from downtown each game. Let's play the Over to get this Tuesday party started.
Clayton is 15-11 to the Over vs. this line in '24-25.
Clayton has gone Over this total in 7 of his last 10 outings.
Clayton has gone Over this line in 9 of his 13 road or neutral-court games this year.
Baylor at Cincinnati: 7:00 PM EST (ESPN2)
Here's another number that just looks way too low at first glance. Yes, I know that the matchup isn't great for an Over because of Cincy's stingy defense. That being said, Omier is a complete beast down low, and I think he puts together a rather large game on the road.
Omier leads the Bears in both points and rebounds, and I could see him getting plenty of second-chance points after cleaning up the glass. Omier should also be able to overpower Cincy forward Dillon Mitchell, especially since he outweighs him by 30 pounds.
Baylor has been giving Omier more minutes lately, which is another good sign for our Over. He's played more than 30 minutes in 8 straight ball games, and I love that he scored 18 against Cincy back on January 7th. Let's trust that Omier can channel those positive vibes into another solid game in the scoring column tonight.
Omier is 15-12 to the Over vs. this line in '24-25.
Omier has gone Over this line in 6 of his last 7.
Omier is 7-6 to the Over vs. this line in road/neutral games.
