O'Sullivan's Pick: Texas Southern -165, bet $16.50 to win $10

Baller's Pick: Texas Southern -3.5, $11 to win $10.

O'Sullivan: Two 16-seeded Davids battling to see who gets to attempt to slay Goliath Kansas on Thursday, so it will feel bittersweet watching this game. I don’t want to get attached to either squad just to have my heart broken in two days. That being said, Texas Southern is 55 spots higher on the KenPom rankings, and has an adjusted defense that almost cracks the top 100 in the country. So they should be able to put the clamps on the Islanders’ adjusted offense, which barely cracks the top 300. The Tigers have held their opponents to under 60 points eight times this year. They’ll do it again today.

Baller: Texas Southern stormed through the SWAC Tournament and is playing its best basketball of the year. They're also the third most experienced team in the country, and played the 9th toughest non-conference schedule. Corpus-Christi played the 349th toughest non-schedule and the worst overall schedule in D1. If that's not going to pay off now for Southern, than when?

Indiana Hoosiers vs. Wyoming Cowboys, 9 pm Eastern

O'Sullivan's Pick: Indiana -180, bet $27 to win $15

Baller's Pick: Wyoming +4, $11 to win $10.

O'Sullivan: Indiana knows it had a chance to beat Iowa in the Big 10 Tournament on Saturday, losing on a last-second three-pointer banked in from the top of the key. I suspect they’re furious about the lost opportunity, and having to sweat out the Selection Committee giving them a bid on Sunday, and having to play in a play-in game on Tuesday, and I suspect they’ll take it out on a Wyoming squad to show the world the injustice. The Hoosiers have a 21st ranked adjusted defense, and played in a conference that left them battle-tested for March. I know all about the Big 10’s past failures in March Madness, but I think this is the year they collectively make some noise - and it starts with Indiana making a statement today.

Baller: Indiana may make a statement, and they will have a serious home court advantage in Dayton, but I think Wyoming may make a statement too. Not necessarily a winning statement, but the Hoosiers are going to know they were in a game.
