Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets at Syracuse Orangemen, 7 pm Eastern

The Pick: Syracuse -8.5 (-110), bet $22 to win $20

This line has dropped from Syracuse -10 to -8.5, perhaps because of Georgia Tech’s win at Pittsburgh on Saturday. It’s enough of a drop for me to put a play on the Orangemen, who are 10-3 at home, 8-5 against the spread at home, and 7-5 ATS as a home favorite. Syracuse scores almost nine more points per game than the Yellow Jackets, with an adjusted offense in the nation’s top twenty. The Orangemen are more than ninety spots higher on the Pomeroy, and tonight might be their last real chance at a win before the season’s end. They’re not going to let it slip by.

Florida State Seminoles at Boston College Golden Eagles, 7 pm Eastern

The Pick: Boston College +1 (-110), bet $22 to win $20

Florida State has been devastated by injuries. On Saturday against Duke, they were without all five of their starters, and while they played valiantly for a half, reality set in during the final twenty minutes and lost by 18 (and it wasn’t that close). The Seminoles are 3-7 in their last ten games, and any chance they had at making the NCAA Tournament has slipped away. Boston College has not had a good season, going 4-11 in the ACC, but they are 3-2 against the spread at home, with a +/- ATS of +2.5 points. If these teams were both at full-strength, that’d be one thing, but with Florida State so depleted and demoralized after their game in Durham, I’ll take a point with the home underdog.

Louisville Cardinals at North Carolina Tar Heels, 7 pm Eastern

The Pick: North Carolina -9 (-110), bet $22 to win $20

North Carolina may already have played themselves into March Madness, but they still need to show the Tournament Committee more evidence that they deserve to be there. The Tar Heels cannot take anything for granted, and a poor showing tonight against a Louisville team that’s endured a season of chaos and disappointment would not be impressive. North Carolina recently lost at home to a bad team, Pittsburgh. They go to Durham to play Duke in Coach K’s last game in Cameron Indoor Stadium, and a loss there is certainly possible. They do not have any more room for error. The Tar Heels’ average margin of victory as a home favorite is 14.1 points, which would be plenty of room tonight. They get it done.

The Pick: Moneyline Parlay Syracuse (-400) w/North Carolina (-480), true price -196, bet $29.39 to win $15
