Clemson Tigers at Florida State Seminoles, 7 pm Eastern

The Pick: Florida State -114, bet $28.50 to win $25

The moneyline is low enough that it makes sense to avoid the spread altogether. Florida State is 6-8 in ACC play and has lost six games in a row, to be sure, but they are still 8-4 at home. I mean, Clemson’s lost four of six games themselves, eight of the last twelve, and are 2-9 this season as an underdog. In their last game on the road, they lost to a Georgia Tech team that’s second-to-last in the conference. The spread is Florida State -1, but I’m not entirely sure why Clemson should be getting only one point against anyone. The line is based on the Tigers' win against the Seminoles two weeks ago, but not enough separate these two squads to not take the home team straight-up.
