I think this might be a case where North Carolina is better than we think and on the upswing, while Kentucky isn’t quite as good as we thought, and deflating just a touch. Add the fact that the game is at a neutral site (Las Vegas) - given a home-court is worth five points, that means the books think Kentucky would be favored by eight were this game in Lexington? ‘Cause I disagree with that. Finally, what tips it for me is the three-point percentage: as a team, UNC shoots 40.9%, while Kentucky shoots 30.2%. Those threes could make the difference; they should at least keep the game close.
