I continue to be impressed with Brown, even though in their current winning streak they haven’t played any truly tough teams. Being able to push North Carolina to the brink has to give a team long-term confidence. Vermont borders the Top 100 of the Pomeroy rankings and I like them, but they only beat Yale by eight in their own gym. Spoiler alert for Ivy League conference play: I think Brown is better than Yale. I’ll tease this game so the Bears are getting double-digits in their own gym. That means Louisville only has to beat DePaul in their own gym. The Blue Demons are 7-1 but have not played anyone truly tough (and I don’t care if they beat Rutgers, who just beat Purdue). Louisville is coming home after a two-game stretch against relative powerhouses, N.C. State and Michigan State. The Cardinals are more battle-tested and are at home.
