Penn had a nice week in South Carolina, even if they lost two of three games. They came back from ten down in the second half before losing to Utah State in double overtime, and hung with Davidson, before beating Old Dominion on Sunday. I think they should be favored against Towson, and so I'll take 1.5 points. The two teams combined average 143.3 points, so I'll also take the over.

Virginia Cavaliers vs. Providence Friars, 7:30 pm Eastern

The Pick: Virginia +2.5 (-112), bet $11.20 to win $10; over 121.5 points (-112), bet $11.20 to win $10

Pomeroy has these two teams right next to each other: Providence at 60, Virginia at 61. So I'll take 2.5 points on a neutral floor in the Legends Classic in Newark, NJ. I know the Cavaliers are defensive-minded, but this total is just too low so I'll take the over as well.
