Wednesday BoopProps: Villanova vs St. John’s — Boop looks at first-half scoring

After falling behind Temple by four in the first 20 minutes at the Liacouras Center on Feb. 16, Villanova has won their last two first halves (both road games) by 20 and 9 points, respectively.

The price is way to steep (-455) on them to just win the first half Wednesday night when St. John’s comes in for the Finneran Pavilion season finale, but an Alternate First-Half Line of -7 yields a more doable -107.

You could go to -6.5 (-118), but giving up the hook is worth the few extra pennies for us. Or you could lay 11 and get back +210, but if the VU threes aren’t falling early, that could be tough to reach. They could be off from distance and forge ahead by a touchdown with a flurry just before intermission.

First Half –

Villanova -7 (-107) . . . $10 / $9.40
