The MAAC Daddy: Eckel picks St. Peter's at Manhattan as the Peacocks look to continue their road success

St. Peter’s at Manhattan (-2), 7 p.m.

St. Peter’s (13-11, 10-5) have been good to us so far, so we’re going to keep riding the Peacocks until further notice.

It hasn’t been easy for teams on the road in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference this season where the home teams are clicking at a 75 percent rate.

This isn’t much of a trip however from Jersey City to Draddy Gym in Riverdale where the Jaspers (11-12, 7-7) call home.

St. Peter’s, which is 17-7 against the spread, has won four of its last five and has also been a good road team. The Peacocks are an impressive 12-3 ATS in their last 15 road games.

In a balanced attack look for senior Quinn Taylor to be the difference for St. Pete’s Friday night.
