We have a confirmed Game 7 in the NBA playoffs! After some relatively boring series due to dominant performances, it all comes down to one game to see who will take on the Oklahoma City Thunder in the second round of the Western Conference playoffs.
The Los Angeles Clippers held on in Game 6 to force this final matchup, giving us one more opportunity to see them face off against the Denver Nuggets. This should be a good one, so get your popcorn ready and your Underdog slips taken care of!
We can’t help you with the popcorn part, unfortunately, but we can certainly help with the Underdog part of things, as we’ve provided our top three player props from this game. Let’s get into it!
We took the under on Jokic’s points total in Game 6, which did hit, but it was close. He missed the over by .5 points, and we think he’s going to turn it on and turn into his MVP-like self in this one, putting up at least 30 points.
He’ll do whatever he can to bring the Nuggets to the next round, and the Clippers’ defense has to break down at some point, right? That’s what we’re banking on, anyhow, which is why we’re gladly taking the over on his point total.
As you might imagine, we’re taking a lot of overs in this game, and that trend will continue with Ivica Zubac’s rebounding total. Zubac is a beast in the paint for the Clippers, making his presence felt when it counts, even against players like Nikola Jokic.
He already has three games this series with 12+ boards, and with so much at stake, look for him to be extra aggressive in this one as well to cash this line.
Christian Braun might be the most underrated player on the Nuggets' roster. He has been starting a lot lately, which certainly helps his case, but most people don’t mention his name when talking about how strong this team is.
Braun is ferocious, hard-nosed, and isn’t afraid to stick it to opposing defenders, even though he’s a younger player with less experience. We love his chances of getting hot early and hitting some big shots, as he’s already done this series, going over the 11.5-point projection here.
