We’ve been talking NBA player props all week, and we’re not done yet! We’re going to dive into one more game, this time focused on the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Miami Heat. After hitting Underdog player prop sweeps on Tuesday and Wednesday nights, we’re looking for another to close out the week, and are looking to this game to make it happen.
The biggest question heading into this matchup is regarding the Heat, and if they’ll be able to win a game in the series after the Cavaliers have been so dominant to this point.
We don’t think they’ll be able to come back in the series, but stranger things have happened. Without further ado, here are our best player props from this matchup!
Davion Mitchell has been the picture of consistency for the Cavaliers during this series, putting up 18 points in Games 1 and 2.
He has done so while shooting an absurd 71.4% from the floor, a number that’s bound to go down in time, but it’s clear that he’s a top option for the Heat, especially in a series that they need some offensive firepower and help.
We’re going to take the over on his point total until further notice, hoping he can keep their chances alive with another solid performance.
This line feels far too high for Mobley, who hasn’t sniffed a 10-rebound game in this series. He’s had six and seven rebounds in this series, and it just doesn’t feel like he’ll do it until there’s a more meaningful game on the docket.
The Cavaliers aren’t necessarily taking their foot off the gas, but they don’t need their stars to be special to win games, either. With that in mind, we’re fading Mobley in this one, especially since they’re up 2-0 in the series.
At this point, we’re fading every non-starter for the Heat. If they want to win this game and get back in the series, they’ll have to heavily rely on their stars and starters, and Duncan Robinson just isn’t a player who can help them take the next step.
Robinson played for 12 minutes in Game 2, which was a close game, and he only scored three points. We can’t trust him to put up any meaningful stats, which is why we’re taking the under on his PRA total.
