NBA Playoffs Betting Preview: 3 Player Props for Monday, May 6
Happy Monday, everyone! It’s a great day to be an NBA fan, as not one but two playoff games tip-off tonight.
The first is Game 1 between the New York Knicks and the Indiana Pacers, and the other is Game 2 between the Minnesota Timberwolves and the Denver Nuggets.
We’re excited to see how everything is slated to go down tonight and are especially invested in player props from the action.
After looking at what the books had to offer, we put together our favorite plays from each game, which we will dive into below. Let’s get after it!
Jalen Brunson OVER 48.5 Pts, Rebs & Asts
This might seem like a high line for any player, but Jalen Brunson has turned into a bonafide superstar for the Knicks.
He was a driving force in the dominant series win over the Philadelphia 76ers, averaging a staggering 35.5 points per game throughout.
We believe he’ll kick off this series with a monster performance, easily hitting the over on his 48.5 PRA line in this spot.
Tyrese Haliburton OVER 9.5 Assists
We love this spot for Haliburton. He was an impressive assist-getter throughout the regular season, and while he struggled in the early stages of the series against the Milwaukee Bucks, Haliburton stepped up when his team needed him the most.
He is a great distributor of the basketball, and while the Knicks are a tough opponent for any team, we’re confident that he’ll crush this line tonight, perhaps before the fourth quarter starts.
Anthony Edwards OVER 40.5 Pts, Rebs & Asts
This is a no-brainer for us in this game. Anthony Edwards continues to establish himself as one of the best players in the NBA, period.
He’s a dominant shooter, rebounder, and facilitator of the basketball, which was put on full display in Game 1 of this series. The Nuggets were no match for him in that game, and even though they know what he can do, tonight’s not going to be the night where they stop him.
Edwards could get close to this PRA line with points alone, which is why we’ll take this with ease.
