NBA Betting Guide for Wednesday: Best Bets and Player Props

After a wild 14-game slate last night, the Wednesday NBA slate includes 8 games, all of which have playoff implications.

We are in the home stretch of the NBA regular season, which means teams looking to solidify playoff positioning while others attempt to play the role of spoiler.

Wednesday night's slate includes an ESPN doubleheader that will tip off with Dallas at Miami at 7:30 PM followed by Minnesota at Denver at 10:00 PM.

Best Bet: Dallas at Miami Over 213

Our best bet for Wednesday is the over for the Mavericks at the Heat. The Mavericks are arguably the hottest team in the NBA, they are 11-1 in their last 12 games and 9-1 against the spread over their last 10.

The under has cashed in 9 of those 12 games, forcing bookmakers to set this total considerably lower than it should be.

The over has cashed in 7 straight Heat games, and 6 of those 7 games have gone over 213 points. Likewise, Dallas has played 18 of its last 22 games over this number.

NBA Player Props for Wednesday, April 10

This Wednesday, we are looking for an Evan Mobley trend to hit again, while forwards Franz Wagner and De’Andre Hunter should lead their squads to victories out East.

F Evan Mobley (CLE): Over 28.5 PRA

In an important contest for playoff positioning, look for Mobley and the Cavs to dominate Memphis down low early to get Mobley across the finish line for his PRA total.

With Coach Jenkins likely benching JJJ and Bane for the rest of the season, this game has blowout potential written all over it. While that could be a cause for concern, fear not for Mobley. The big man averages 33.4 PR in seven wins of 15+ this season. With the spread set around -18.5 for the Cavs, expect this trend to continue.

G Damian Lillard (MIL): Over 26.5 PTS

An easy bet here as Lillard has hit this total in the last four games Giannis has been out of the starting lineup. While Orlando has one of the tougher defensive schemes in the East, Dame will be the key scorer and initiator for this Bucks offense.

Coming off of two days of rest, the former Blazer shoots over 43% from downtown. Scoring 24 points in their last matchup with Giannis in the lineup dropping 37, the numbers are leaning towards a 30-bomb from Dame tonight in a close one.

F De’Andre Hunter (ATL): Over 2.5 3PM

With Hunter taking advantage of his last matchup against Tyler Herro and the Charlotte Hornets limping to the finish line, this is a perfect spot for the Hawks wing to continue his great stretch of play.

While he hasn’t had the best month shooting from downtown, he’s taken 7 or more 3 pointers in four of the Hawks’ last five outings. Averaging 2.2 3 PM in wins this season, expect De’Andre to catch fire against a much worse opponent.

F Franz Wagner (ORL): Over 3.5 AST

Franz has struggled to score at a high rate since the All-Star break, but his playmaking skills have been on display as this Magic team stays in the hunt for home court advantage for the postseason.

Off plenty of rest after Sunday night’s blowout win over Chicago, look for Franz (who averages 4.2 APG on 2 days of rest) to hit this total against a Milwaukee team he dropped six dimes against earlier this season.
