NBA Betting Guide for Friday: Best Bets and Player Props

With 12 games on the Friday night NBA schedule, there is no shortage of options available to bettors looking for action.

After a small (but enteretaining) Thursday night slate, the NBA is back with a massive 12-game schedule tonight.

The NBA TV doubleheader will feature Sacramento at Boston (-8.5) followed by Minnesota at Phoenix (-4.5). That said, there are plenty of games worth catching on league pass, including OKC at Indiana and Golden State at Dallas.

Best Bet: LA Clippers (-12.5)

We were tempted to continue our trend fading the Raptors (1-10 ATS over last 11), however we couldn't get confirmation on Giannis' status and think that line will move if he is in fact out.

While we aren't laying 15 with the Bucks, we are still laying a big number here with the Clippers giving 12.5 points to the Jazz at home.

This Jazz roster is a catastrophe right now. Out for tonight: Clarkson, Dunn, Markkanen, Collins, and Kessler. They've lost 10 games in a row and have been beaten by at least 13 points 5 times over that stretch.

The Clippers are on the second night of a doubleheader but should be in good spirits after beating the reigning champs at home last night.

NBA Friday Prop Picks for Friday, April 5th

While Luka Doncic and Miles McBride should fill up the stat sheet in great matchups, Bradley Beal should continue to struggle in a tough matchup against the Wolves.

G Luka Doncic (DAL): Over 0.5 Triple Double

Doncic and the Mavs have been on a tear lately winning 12 of their last 13 while Luka has had his best stretch of the season from beyond the arc. After narrowly missing out on a triple double against the Hawks, look for the stat sheet to open up against Golden State, who Doncic dropped a triple-double against just a few nights ago.

With the Mavs having a chance for home court as we wind the season down, expect Luka to up his play and get teammates involved at a high rate.

F DeAndre Ayton (POR): Over 23.5 PTS

This is a matchup nightmare for Washington, who allowed 23 and 16 to Ayton earlier this season pre deadline. Now with Washington down a few big men, look for Ayton to dominate the paint as Portland should win this ball game.

Ayton’s last three games against “worse” bigs? Charlotte (24 points), Atlanta (33 points), and Toronto (30 points). Look for the big man to put together a solid outing against a Wizards team asking to lose.

G Miles McBride (NYK): Over 21.5 PRA

McBride simply plays too many minutes for him not to reach his PRA mark. The pest in the backcourt has averaged over 36 minutes of playing time for the Knicks since the start of March, while averaging about 19 PRA during that time span.

Over his last five, he’s played an astounding 43.8 MPG while averaging 18.4 PPG and nearly 4 APG, easily reaching this PRA marker each over his last five games. With an increased shooting touch (44% since start of March), expect this over to hit in a close game against Chicago.

G Bradley Beal (PHX): Under 25.5 PRA

Expect the stars to shine in this marquee matchup between the Suns and Wolves, while Bradley Beal might be taking a backseat. With the former All-Star unable to reach the 20-point mark since March 17th against Milwaukee, time is running out for the Suns to figure this trio out and tonight against Minnesota won’t be that night.
