Miami Heat at Boston Celtics, 9 pm Eastern
The Pick: over 201 points (-110), bet $11 to win $10
Miami looked pretty cooked in Game 5. Both Jimmy Butler and Kyle Lowry looked tired, banged up, and diminished, and the absence of Tyler Herro really showed in the Heat’s backcourt performance. But I’m still going with the over tonight. The line is showing too much recency bias from the last game. Besides, even though they’re wounded, I don’t expect Miami to back down facing a closeout game. Boston may win, but sending opponents packing in a seven-game series is the hardest thing to do. The Celtics are on the cusp of greatness, but their core is still young, so I expect a dogfight tonight. I also expect the Heat to shoot better than 7-45 (!!) from the three-point line. The over’s 3-2 in this series; I think it wins its fourth game just as the Celtics will.
