Memphis Grizzlies at Minnesota Timberwolves, 9 pm Eastern
The Pick: Minnesota +1.5 (-112), bet $11.20 to win $10
Quite frankly, there’s an argument to be made that Minnesota should have won this series already. They blew a huge lead at Memphis in Game 2, and a fourth-quarter lead again at Memphis on Tuesday. The Timberwolves know they can win this series, if they only play smart, rebound the basketball, and hold onto a lead. Minnesota was 28-16 at home during the season (24-19-1 against the spread), and have won 10 of their last 14 games at home. Getting 1.5 points at home in a must-win game, in a series the Timberwolves must know they can win, after blowing a late lead to Ja Morant, and no doubt watching the highlight of Morant’s insane dunk during that game, creates a perfect “home dog” situation. This has been a crazy series that seems destined to go seven games.
