Denver Nuggets at Golden State Warriors, 10 pm Eastern
The Pick: Denver +9 (-110), bet $11 to win $10
Clearly, Golden State has been the better team this series, and I expect them to close out Denver tonight. But the Nuggets showed a lot of heart on Sunday, avoiding a sweep and perhaps gaining a little confidence. Nine points is a whole lot for the Warriors to be laying. While Golden State has the legendary three-point shooters Steph Curry and Klay Thompson, the Nuggets are ranked best in the NBA in defending the three-point line on the road. Denver is outgunned but has pride. I think Nikola Jokic, who scored 37 on Sunday, will continue to vex Golden State, and the rest of the Nuggets, though undermanned, will fight hard enough for the game to be somewhat close.
