Miami Heat at Atlanta Hawks, 7 pm Eastern
The Pick: Miami -125, bet $12.50 to win $10
Atlanta needed a heroic Trae Young shot with less than five seconds to go to beat Miami on Friday, 111-110, and prevent going down 0-3 in the series. The Heat’s Jimmy Butler missed two jumpers, one to put Miami up by three and one to win the game at the buzzer. Before that, Miami was up by 16 points and then let the Hawks up off the mat. I think Butler and the rest of the Heat know they let one slip away, and have no intention of letting Atlanta knot up this series. Miami’s Kyle Lowry and Bam Adebayo are both banged up, but they’ll gut it out. Besides, Atlanta’s missing center Clint Capela and that’s as big a loss. The Heat’s defense is the better unit, and they’ll hunker down to make sure they get a win.
