Dallas Mavericks at Utah Jazz, 4:30 pm Eastern
The Pick: Utah -5 (-112), bet $11.20 to wi $10
I still think Dallas can win this series, but regardless, it seems like it’s going seven games. That means Utah needs to win tonight. The Mavericks have really put it to the Jazz in the three games so far, and if they beat Utah at home again, this series is over. I don’t think Jazz stars Donovan Mitchell and Rudy Gobert will let their squad pack it in, and their defense against Maverick guard Jalen Brunson has to be better than it’s been. And they’re likely to shoot better than 32.1% from the three-point line. Luka Doncic is still out for the Mavs, and while Dallas has by no means shrunk from the challenge, Utah has to have this game. (shrug) Some playoff series are just destined to go seven.
