The Pick: Memphis -6.5 (-110), bet $22 to win $20
On Saturday, Minnesota proved that they were not just going to roll over and die in the face of playing a team who’s feel-good story everyone’s been enjoying. But tonight Memphis will prove that they can adjust to getting smacked in the face. Losing the first game of a seven-game series at home makes the second game a must-win, so the Grizzlies will be throwing everything at the Timberwolves tonight. I think this series is going seven games, and I think Minnesota certainly has a chance to win it, but that sort of drawn-out battle means that no team will win two games in a row. Bear Ja Morant will accept the challenge that Wolf Anthony Edwards threw down, and will go off tonight. The series goes to Minnesota tied up.
