The Pick: Philadelphia -14.5 (-105), bet $10.50 to win $10
Heading into the final weekend of the regular season, most of the playoff seeds are now set. Who the Sixers will play in the first round isn’t, however. Philadelphia is a half-game behind Boston for the third seed in the Eastern Conference. The third seed will face the Chicago Bulls, who are depleted and reeling after an overachieving first half of the year. Fourth seed faces the pesky and underrated Toronto Raptors, with their annoying defense and great coaching. Philadelphia wants the third seed if at all possible. That means they’ll go all out today facing an Indiana Pacers team with nothing at all to play for. Also, Joel Embiid is striving for the MVP award, and today’s game is a terrific chance for him to put in a convincing case to any undecided voters. The Sixers roll.
