The Pick: Los Angeles +140, bet $10 to win $14
Los Angeles is fighting for their playoff, er, play-in lives, currently a game out of the last spot in the Western Conference. LeBron James and Anthony Davis are listed as questionable, but I expect them to play in this nationally televised game and if they do, I expect them to lay it all on the line. Denver is 1-4 against the spread in their last five games, and have dropped eight of the last eleven to the Lakers - six straight in Los Angeles. This has been a hugely disappointing season for L.A., but when it’s all said and done, I can’t imagine James going quietly. He’ll battle for a playoff spot.
